Dashboard Roles & Permissions
The new Roles and Permissions capability allows you to assign specific permissions to each of your team members, control the actions that can be performed, minimize risk, and improve overall security.
Users of the Balance dashboard will now have four role-based permission levels:
Admin
For the account owner or anyone who needs similar access
Full access to all possible actions in the dashboard
Only role that has access to money movement settings, such as setting merchant/vendor bank accounts
Support Specialist
For those who need to support your customers and manage their financial transactions on the dashboard
Refund payments, resolve disputes, create invoices, and qualify buyers for net terms
Vendor Specialist
For those who work closely with vendors and need to manage their information and payments on the dashboard
Create vendors, edit their identity information, and transfer funds to a vendor’s bank account
Viewer
For those who only need to view and download reports, but do not need to make any changes
View access to the information in the dashboard and should not make any edits
It is possible for a user to have multiple roles and therefore, will have the combined permissions of each role to which they are assigned. In addition, unsupported actions will be hidden if a user does not have permission to perform them.
